Though there are several auto shows which take place in summer, we already start finding out about the fall events. 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show will be held in the middle of November and Ford sources have already said the 2010 Mustang will be presented there.
Everybody was expecting the new muscle car to have its debut in Detroit, but according to the manufacturer the 2010 Mustang will show itself at the western part of the country.
The presentation of the pony car to the media will take place on November, 19-20 and the 2008 L.A. Auto Show will open on November, 21.
Unfortunately there is not much we can tell about this model of Mustang. Its camouflaged pictures have been traveling all over the Internet since last fall, but there are no true pictures which could show any detail. The designers were going to make the appearance of the pony car smaller than it is, to reduce the impression big muscle car makes on people as a gas guzzler. We’ll see if they completed their goal when the better pictures will be shown to the public.
Ford offers a new option of all Mustang fans. Now they can not only enjoy the ride in a beautiful sport car, but watch the sky through panoramic glass roof. The option costs $1,995 and is available for 2010 Mustang V6 and GT.
Mustang reached a significant point last week. Ford announced the 9 millionth Mustang has rolled off the line and is heading to an unknown owner to a dealership in Iowa.
Ford Motor Company presented a new package on the New York Auto Show this year. They have a program supporting breast cancer education and the new Warrior in Pink package is going to help with this.
Ford is planning to make a “world car” with the new Focus which is coming to the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. The company has tried this trick before, it did not work well, but an idea of a universal model for various markets has always been a desired piece of cake for many manufacturers.
The 2010 Ford Mustang won the new test of sporty cars and coupes held by Consumer Reports. It showed to be better than Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger. The Mustang was qualified as “an even more balanced and satisfying driver's car than ever before.”
