2008 Mini John Cooper was presented on the Geneva Auto Show this year. Being a little vehicle it has 218 horsepower which is unbelievable for a tiny one like this. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine is turbocharged.
Being designed as a racing car from the beginning Mini Cooper still has fog lights, but its bumper was remodeled and got deeper providing more aerodynamics to the car.
The wheels got some tuning. You can see low-profile run flat tires on 17-inch wheels. These super light weight wheels were designed for Challenge racecar and are used in the new model of Mini Cooper.
Even the interior of the car has sport features. Three-spoke steering wheel and sport-shaped seats make you feel like being a member of a race.
The new car is going to be sold as a two-door hatchback and a three-door Clubman. Depending on the model the look of the vehicle differs. The Clubman has standard sills and long-wheel database, while hatchback got air ducks for the rear breaks and chunky sills.
The sales of Mini John Cooper in U.S. start in August this year and the price of both hatchback and Clubman models is going to be around $30,000.

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 got its upgrades from Hennessey Performance Engineering and became even more powerful than it has already been before that.
The Jeep fans were probably surprised by a new look of 2008 Jeep Liberty. It is absolutely different than the previous year model. On the outside it looks so much bigger and squarer.
BMW has officially announced that it is going to make new series of small, front and four-wheel drive vehicles on a new platform. These autos are going to share it with the next generation of Mini models. At this time the company is “exploring the possibility of developing a joint venture for the front- and four-wheel-drive systems of these cars”.
