2008 Paris Auto Show: Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S
Many auto manufacturers are preparing for a good debut at the Paris Auto Show this coming week and some of the presentations look gorgeous on pictures and will definitely be even better in reality on the podiums.
Together with McLaren Mercedes-Benz is ready to introduce Roadster 722 S which will be offered for customers in a limited edition. There will be only 150 beauties like this and if the gossips are true, the companies plan to ask more than $1 million for each of them.
A muscle coupe is painted in crystal antimony gray and it has fully retractable folding soft top. The interior is made with leather, carbon fiber and Alcantara, which contrasts with the red seatbelts and the red stitching on the trim.
Roadster 722 S is much stronger than its forerunner providing 641 horsepower and 605 pound-feet of torque. It has a 5.5-liter V8 engine, which was hand-build in Affalterbach by AMG. The maximum speed of the car is 208 mph.
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S goes on sale in January next year, but for the beginning go to Paris to the auto show and admire its beauty there.
