In the last decade Audi has a reputation of a style leader, but cars are weak in driving features. The company decided to improve the soul of the new model and announced about the appearance of the second generation TT.
2009 Audi coupe and roadster will be for sale in November and according to experts its driving tools are close to BMW Z4 3.0 and Mercedes SLK350. The new car has a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which gives it opportunity to gain 265 of horsepower. In general the engine for this model comes from Volkswagen Group, but engine block, cylinder heads and pistons were upgraded in order to stand the higher horsepower.
The new model combines TT and S features. The inside interior is made in the classic TT way except for the fact there are white numbers on the gray background of the panel like in S-models.
The outside look of the car reminds more of other S-models and less of the previous TT’s. The main details of Audi S like aluminum side mirrors, LED daytime driving lights and quad tailpipes are present in this car. 2009 Audi also got new front spoiler, rocket skirts, rear aero diffuser and 18-inch cast-aluminum wheels.
Audi plans to launch the North American sales of highly advertised compact SUV, Q5, in March. The manufacturer says it will be an equal competitor to the other foreign sport-utility autos like BMW X3, Lexus RX 350 and Infiniti EX35.
