2009 Ford Flex

Ford Flex

Ford does not like making minivans and offers the alternatives instead. The combination of Range Rover and station wagon is going to the dealerships in July.

2009 Ford Flex has standard Ford 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine, which allows the vehicle to gain 262 horsepower and 248 hound-feet of torque. In addition to this there is six-speed transmission and front-wheel drive (though all-wheel drive is offered optionally as well).

The overall length of the auto is 117.9 inches; it gives plenty of legroom for the second row of seats. The third row is sort of compromised, but there are still 33.4 inches of legroom for the passengers who will sit in the very back.

Flex looks square and some fans already christened it to a breadbox, but the nearly straight vertical side glass makes it feel very spacious on the inside.

The new Ford Flex is not going to be a cheap vehicle. When it arrives to the dealerships, its price will be set for $28,995. Ford offers different upgrades like all-wheel drive, navigation system, rearview camera and some other features which will all together add extra $10,000 to the Flex.
