Frank Rinderknecht, an autodesigner from Switzerland, came up with an interesting idea of a new-generation car. His project has not been fully developed yet, but we already know it is named Rinspeed iChange.
This is an electric vehicle powered by 130-kW motor. Its unique structure lies in the “electric trick tail”. The illustrations don’t show any detail on the “tail”, but the manufacturer says the new auto can be transformed from a 1-seater sport car to a compact van which will seat a driver and two passengers. So, Rinspeed iChange is unofficially called “1-2-3 seater”.
AEZ Wheels, Siemens, Harman/Becker and Eberspaecher plan to work together on the development of the Rinderknecht’s car.
The car itself and all the details about it will be presented at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show.
