2009 Volkswagen Golf

2009 Volkswagen Golf

Volkswagen is ready to present its new redesigned hatchback Golf, which is promised to be better than all the previous models. Its production is going to start next year: at first it goes to European customers in October, 2009, and then it will be sold in North America, Australia, Asia and Africa as a 2010 model.

The basic look of the car did not change and reminds all the previous generations of Golf. There have been added some new features to the front of the vehicle, which remind about the new Scirocco look.

2009 Golf received updates in some other aspects: it got new adaptive chassis control and automatic distance control. As an option you can order a car with Volkswagen’s seven-dual clutch automatic transmission.

The European version of Golf has a variety of engines: four-cylinder diesels with 89 to 168 horsepower and direct-injection gasoline engines with 79 to 158 hp. Several models are equipped with the twincharger system.
