Honda works on the new model of Acura NSX and seems like the company had some changes for the car since the Nürnburg show, Germany, in June. The auto with the face of a wild cat lost its zebra stripes and received a very popular now silver color.

At the Nürnburg 2010 Acura NSX made its red-hot lap within 7 minutes and 37 seconds. One of the reasons of the good result is the car does not have enormous rear wings as other autos do. Some people project it can do at least 10 seconds better at the autumn testing season.

Some of the luxury car designers use heavy rear transaxles, but Honda made it different. Instead, Acura’s back looks like one big rear wing. This helps to enlighten the car significantly: the coupe is 550 pounds lighter than the new Nissan.

The soul of the car is a 5.5-liter V10 which equips it with 600 horsepower and 433 pound-feet of torque. When the Acura goes slower the five deactivated cylinders help to save the fuel and reduce the emission.

Though, according to the manufacturer’s plans Acura NSX is priced at about $160,000, some of the customers might prefer better looking and cheaper cars like Jaguar XKR or Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
