Nissan presented a commercial concept which was made for the North American market and will only be sold there. Nissan vice-president of design said they were trying to create something better than “just a box on four wheels”. As a result we can see NV2500 Concept which is the largest project produced by this design agency.
The vehicle has a base of a full-sized Titan pick-up which is 19.5-feet long and has 147.6-inch wheelbase. The manufacturer has not decided about the type of engine, but most possible it will be a Cummins engine with ZF transmission.
NV2500 will be equipped with 20-inch aluminum wheels, glass roof with solar panel, wraparound style windshield and front windows and a wide grille.
Inside you can find a mobile office with the computer workstation, fold-down conference table, storage compartments. At the front there is even more storage room with shelves and a miniature closet and a retractable power cord in the instrumental panel.
The commercial concept NV2500 will be built at the Nissan plant in Canton, Mississippi, and the sales will start in the middle of 2010.
