Rupert Stadler, Audi chairman of the board of the management, told about the new Lamborghini which is going to be designed soon. He pointed out the details on which the company works now.
Since the high prices on fuel insult everybody so much, one of the main things the company is working on now is the fuel efficiency. The designers are concentrated on the reduce of fuel consumption right now. This year the changes of some internal parts of the engine might help to save 18% of fuel, by 2012 the company hopes to reach 20%.
Many manufacturers put navigation system into their vehicles. Audi is not going to be an exception in this, but they are working hard in order to make it unique and different from the others. Stadler says the GPS in the new Lamborghini will have three-dimensional views of buildings and objects.
It is still unclear what kind of engine the car will have, but it is definitely going to be turbocharged. Also, according to the chairman’s words, the auto will have aluminum body parts.
