Everybody wants to lay their hands on the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class even before it made it to the dealers’ showrooms. German tuner Lorinser offers its vision of the car.
2010 Mercedes-Benz received engine upgrade: new camshafts, exhaust and engine computer allow the 5.5-liter V8 provide 435 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. In order to feel the muscle fully, an owner is offered to go full speed of 174 mph.
As for body modifications, the car got equipped with new bumpers, side sills, a spoiler and wide fenders. From the back one can notice a diffuser and quad exhaust pipes.
Lorinser offers 20-inch wheels with lowered sport suspension as part of the kit too.
And do not forget the car is good from the very beginning: manufacturer offers sever-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel-drive that graduates to all-wheel drive by fall, Night View Assist Plus and an awesome Adaptive Highbeam Assist which works with the headlights closing them with mechanic eyelids if necessary or leveling them out swiveling sideways in curves.
The upgrade kit comes out at the same time as the car arrives to the dealerships in May.
Manufacturers are not the only ones who present their designs at auto shows: German tuner, Irmscher Automobilau is going to the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show with the upgrade package for the 2010 Opel Astra.
For those who think that the days of station wagons are over Mercedes-Benz is ready to present the 2010 E-Class auto at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show in September. Soon after the debut the manufacturer plans to start the production of the model.
Even tuners sometimes make mistakes. In April the Mustang tuner Roush started selling the new package which increases the price of 2010 Mustang by $15,000 and changes the outside and inside look of the car, puts new wheels and suspension.
German tuner Geiger Cars decided that CorvetteZ06 is not powerful enough with 505 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. After some work the modified car became much stronger: the tuner claims that the modifications help the Corvette engine to output 890 hp and 694 lb-ft of torque.
If you plan to purchase a 2010 Mustang and want to pay around $30,000 for it, go for the standard edition from the manufacturer.
