German tuning company, Hamann, is experimenting again with a vehicle which you might think is perfectly made from the very beginning, but the tuner knows exactly what to add to make the car even better and stronger.
This time the upgrades were made on Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren which received a new name: Volcano. The company worked with the 5.4-liter V8 engine and now it can provide 690 horsepower and 612 pound-feet of torque. This result was achieved not through a change of the engine itself, but by addition of sport exhaust system with six pipes, exhaust manifolds and reprogrammed engine control unit.
To add sportier look to the Mercedes Hamann equipped it with side skirt attachments, rear diffuser and carbon-fiber wings. Now McLaren runs on 21-inch Edition Race forged alloy wheels with the different tires: 255/30ZR21 at the front and 345/25ZR21 at the back.
The tuner offers Volcano with different color schemes: aluminum/chrome or white/matte. The interior was redesigned and now the Mercedes has aluminum pedals and footrests and carbon-fiber trim.
For those who are worries about safety Mercedes created armored 2010 E-Class model package. The driver and passengers do not need to worry about any attacks with the E-Guard because the steel body of the auto withstands gunfire and explosions.
