If you plan to purchase a 2010 Mustang and want to pay around $30,000 for it, go for the standard edition from the manufacturer. If there are extra $5,000-10,000 in your pocket, Roush would be willing to sell an advanced version to you.
The tuner finished its work on the Mustang on Wednesday and starts selling the car in the beginning of April. The official Roush website has several pictures and a video teaser of the 2010 pony car.
The simplest basic Stage 1 Mustang received appearance changes: the car has new front and rear fascia, front and side-splitters, and three-piece rear wing. It is priced for $34,847. The next step is taken by Stage 2 Mustang. It has the same exterior upgrades and adds a suspension package. This edition starts at $36,221.
Although the images of the first two are not available on the website, the customers can see the pictures of the most advanced version, 427R Mustang. This is going to be the first car to carry Roush supercharger which boosts horsepower to 435 and provides 400 pound-feet of torque. There have been some changes made under the hood and Roush says even the hoses have been updated. The price of the most economical 427R Mustang is $43,051.
Even tuners sometimes make mistakes. In April the Mustang tuner Roush started selling the new package which increases the price of 2010 Mustang by $15,000 and changes the outside and inside look of the car, puts new wheels and suspension.
Knight Rider show team was the first to deal with 2010 Mustang which was not even revealed at that time at any public shows.
Manufacturers are not the only ones who present their designs at auto shows: German tuner, Irmscher Automobilau is going to the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show with the upgrade package for the 2010 Opel Astra.
The 2010 Ford Mustang won the new test of sporty cars and coupes held by Consumer Reports. It showed to be better than Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger. The Mustang was qualified as “an even more balanced and satisfying driver's car than ever before.”
Ford offers a new option of all Mustang fans. Now they can not only enjoy the ride in a beautiful sport car, but watch the sky through panoramic glass roof. The option costs $1,995 and is available for 2010 Mustang V6 and GT.
