New Volkswagen Golf VI is already expecting the customers at the European dealerships, but North America will have to wait for the auto’s coming a little more. Although the U.S. buyers will be meeting the vehicle later, they will have an option to order a tune-up package from the German tuner as soon as they purchase the auto.
Abt Sportline equipped Golf VI with new grille, side sills, front apron, rear valance and spoiler. The tuner offers a choice of 18- or 19-inch wheels.
VW makes the SUV with four engines and Abt upgraded them all: two standard 1.4-liters can now output 170 and 200 horsepower; turbocharged 2.0-liter gained 240 hp and diesel Golf motor makes 170 horses.
If the sport engine is not enough the tuner can provide an upgraded four-pipe exhaust and sport suspension which includes new brakes and lowering springs.
Volkswagen is ready to present its new redesigned hatchback Golf, which is promised to be better than all the previous models.
Volkswagen came to the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show with a new small car. E Up! is called “the Beetle of the 21st Century” by the manufacturer although it has a significantly different look from the bug-car.
Manufacturers are not the only ones who present their designs at auto shows: German tuner, Irmscher Automobilau is going to the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show with the upgrade package for the 2010 Opel Astra.
Even tuners sometimes make mistakes. In April the Mustang tuner Roush started selling the new package which increases the price of 2010 Mustang by $15,000 and changes the outside and inside look of the car, puts new wheels and suspension.
German tuner Geiger Cars decided that CorvetteZ06 is not powerful enough with 505 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. After some work the modified car became much stronger: the tuner claims that the modifications help the Corvette engine to output 890 hp and 694 lb-ft of torque.
