Gasoline prices go higher and car manufacturers are working hard to invent alternative fuel for their vehicles and also to create the new autos which will use something absolutely different from gasoline. We have already mentioned about alternative diesel version, which is produced from vegetables. Hydrogen vehicles were offered as a solution for gas crisis. This sounds like a really good idea, since we have endless supplies for hydrogen on Earth, but the experts say there will be decades till hydrogen autos will become available to the public.
The main variant for several automakers is a full-electric car. We are already used to hybrids, which showed up on the world market. They save gasoline, by working part-time from electric batteries positioned under the seats.
There are some gossips that BMW is developing an all-electric car. Though the company did not approve these news, some magazines say it is obvious BMW will present its’ electric-powered auto by 2012. The company representatives say they are just studying the market of electric cars and see if it will make any commercial sense as much as the demand of the cars of this type worldwide.
Next month the automotive world plans to move to Los Angeles to the 2008 Auto Show. BMW is coming there with the presentation of its first all-electric cars, Mini E.
All the world is interested in miniature fuel-efficient cars and the gas-guzzlers’ makers need to find a good solution for their business to go on.
