A Collection of Jaguars Goes to Goodwood

1953 Jaguar C-Type

The visitors of Goodwood Festival of Speed which will take place this weekend, will be pleased to see a great variety of Jaguar high-performance cars.

First of all the British automaker plans to show one of a kind Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special and its fastest auto XFR Prototype. The presentation last year at Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, has shown that the Prototype can reach 225.675 mph which makes it the fastest Jaguar ever.

There will also be presented D-Type that won Le Mans race in 1957 and C-Type the winner of the same competition in 1953. The XJ13 Prototype designed by Malcolm Sayer also goes to the Festival as a Le Mans car although it has never raced there.

And the last but not least in the collection is an auto based on 2010 Jaguar XKR. It differs from a standard model with an upgraded suspension, 21-inch wheels, louder exhaust and unique body color. The designers decided to paint it lime green with satin graphite elements.
