Ford Paints Fiesta in Magenta and Lime

2011 Ford Fiesta in Lime Squeeze

Ford is planning to attract young customers to the 2011 Ford Fiesta by the introduction of new colors. The sedan will stand out in the dull crowd of other vehicles with Bright Magenta and Lime Squeeze bodies.

The bright colors were inspired by the color palette of the Fiesta dishes offered by Newell company in West Virginia. Just recently the firm introduced new Lemongrass dinnerware which is only a shade lighter than Lime Squeeze offered by Ford. The automaker says the brightness is present in many modern goods: you can see crayon colors in lamps, furniture, kitchen appliances and even computers, so now there is a chance for a car to be painted in the same palette.

While Magenta and Lime are only coming to the market in America, Ford has already tried wild colors in Asia. According to the research, 28% purchased Fiestas were painted in Passion Orange there. The new colors are also coming to Europe where customers name body color as one of the top 10 reasons for purchasing a Fiesta.

The sedan is not the only Ford vehicle with the bold colors. The automaker says that 39% customers have chosen Molten Orange for their new Ford F-150 SVT Raptor and 10% customers wanted their 2010 Ford Mustang in Grabber Blue.
