Geely Tiger at Beijing Auto Show

Gelly Tiger

Geely is preparing a new presentation for 2008 Beijing Auto Show. This year they plan to debut with Tiger coupe concept. It is a sport car, which has already been compared to Maserati, Ferrari and even Maybatch. Many Internet bloggers discuss it and in Europe the new Geely’s model got an unofficial nickname “Chinese Batmobile”.

The plans of Tiger production are uncertain yet, but Geely plans to place the new coupe above Beauty Leopard already presented to the world before in terms of price and class of the vehicle.

2008 Beijing Auto Show is going to exhibit about 23 Geely models. Most of them have the names of wild animals. They are Tiger coupe, five-door King Kong (compact sedan created together with Italian and Korean car manufacturers), Panda baby car, which received only teasing and laughter from the bloggers, updated Beauty Leopard coupe (also called Chinese Dragon) and many others. Seems, like Geely really prepares a jungle presentation for the Auto Show visitors.
