Ford offers a new option of all Mustang fans. Now they can not only enjoy the ride in a beautiful sport car, but watch the sky through panoramic glass roof. The option costs $1,995 and is available for 2010 Mustang V6 and GT.
American automaker wants to keep up with the other manufacturers among which the panoramic glass roof option became a really big fashion. Since 2008 when the 2010 Mustang was introduced to the public and till now 10% of all Mustangs were equipped with the glass roof. The other popular option is convertible top which makes 25% of pony-car sales.
The panoramic roof is made out of tinted privacy glass, but if the sun is too bright or the passengers prefer shade, manual roller blind helps to shield the sun. The roof protects from sun in the same way as SPF 50 sunscreen: it filters 90% of infrared waves and 96% of UV rays of the sun.
Mustang is not the only Ford model with this option. The 2010 Lincoln MKS, 2009 Ford Flex, Lincoln MKX and Ford Edge can have panoramic glass roof too if the customers desire.
Though there are several auto shows which take place in summer, we already start finding out about the fall events.
