Honda Announces the Prices for 2009 Fit

2009 Honda Fit Sport

In the beginning of September Honda is going to start sales of 2009 Honda Fit. The company has already released the prices for all the varieties of the model.

The very basis five-door hatchback with five-speed manual transmission costs $15,220, which is $600 more than 2008 model. If the transmission turns into automatic, the price goes to $16,020.

The manufacturer expects the highest demand among the hatchbacks on Honda Fit Sport. The ones with the standard shift start at $16,730 and automatic transmission will cost $17,580.

The most sophisticated variant is Fit Sport Navi. The company expects 10% of buyers to be interested in this model. The manual transmission on these is priced for $18,580 and automatic is $19,430. This vehicle has navigation system and stability control.

All the models of 2009 Honda Fit are made with 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which provides 117 horsepower and 106 pound-feet of torque. The hatchback was improved from the previous year, it accelerates quicker than the 2008 Fit, but looses a little in fuel economy.
