The same thing goes to the tank. Don’t fill it up all the way. Nowadays the gas stations as placed everywhere by the highway exits. The full tank makes the auto heavier and increases the gas usage.
5. Watch your driving. Fast stops, accelerations and rough turns make your car suffer more.
6. Air conditioning. It is always nice to be in a cool car on a hot day, but if you drive in the city limit a lot, which usually requires many stops and makes you drive slowly, it is better to turn the conditioner off and open the windows. You might not believe, but it will save up to 20% of your gas usage.
