BMW decided to surprise Moscow residents and visitors with a huge billboard. It is definitely the biggest banner in Russia and perhaps in the whole world.
The new billboard takes a surface of 1.5 acres which is approximately 65,000 square feet. It is built around hotel Russia right above Moscow river. The designers came up with the idea of a banner shaped like a highway with 4 M-series Bimmers on it and a slogan “BMW has to be number One every day”.
The life-size BMWs, "running" across the banner are M3 coupe, M5, M6 and Z4 M coupe. The original parts of the cars were used in building these models. They even have working headlights which turn on with the dusk.
Now people visiting Moscow from all over the world will not only enjoy its museums, cathedrals and architecture, but they can observe the intriguing huge billboard right in the center of the city.
