Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 got its upgrades from Hennessey Performance Engineering and became even more powerful than it has already been before that.

The tuners decided to leave the five-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, original brakes and 20-inch wheels. And from the outside the Jeep did not change a lot.

But Hennessey knows what Cherokee needs. Having 420 horsepower the Jeep seems already powerful enough for an SUV, but the tuners add 110 more and make it even stronger! The torque is increased in the same way and the vehicle gets 530 pound-feet now. There is also a turbocharger system offered, which will help the Grand Cheroke to have up to 600 horsepower!

To help the big auto breathe better, Hennessey changes the exhaust by putting stainless-steel long tube headers, stainless steel midpipes, which feed high-flow catalytic converters, and 3-inch stainless steel pipes capped by 4-inch polished tips.

The original Jeep is reported to have only 11 miles per gallon in the city limit and 14 on the highway, with the upgrades offered by Hennessey it will be even less. But if you don’t care about fuel efficiency and paying $15,900 for all the tuning, you can get a super-powerful Jeep and be a proud owner of Grand Cherokee with grand muscles.
