Republican candidate to the presidential post, John McCain, made a speech at Fresno State University, California, which showed his care about the environment.
First of all he offered to give a $300-million government prize to encourage the development of the batteries for hybrid and electric cars. As he thinks this way the scientists can work harder on inventing the devices which will break the U.S. from the oil dependency from other countries.
He also wants to encourage the car manufacturers who wish to care about the environment. This field of car industry is studied more lately and the auto makers start developing and producing more flex-fuel and zero-emission vehicles. In order to help the companies and show how right they are in their intentions, John McCain proposes to give $5,000 industry tax credit for each produced and sold zero-emission auto.

The shockingly high prices on fuel seem to go down and almost every day we can see the gas is getting more affordable again.
The economy of the country is going down and the people try not to make a mistake in spending their money using it only on food, electricity, gas or other necessary things.
It is not very profitable to be an SUV manufacturer nowadays, because the trucks cost much to be made and the prices at the dealerships are falling down because nobody wants them.
