Lancias at Pebble Beach

1908 Lancia Alpha

The main attraction at 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, California, will be a collection of seventeen Lancia autos. The Fiat owned brand will be represented by very rare models.

The oldest vehicle of the collection is 1908 the 12-horsepower Lancia Alpha. One of the six existing 1953 Lancia Aurelia B20s will be present at the show too. It is a rally model and it was designed and produced specifically for the competition. At 1971 Turin Auto Show Lancia revealed its new two-person car and the original Lancia Stratos HF Prototype Bentone Coupe from the show will be brought to Pebble Beach as well.

Lancia is a very old brand founded in 1906. It has always been special for its unusual and “spiritual” vehicles. They were the first ones to produce the autos with narrow V4 and V6 engines. However, this is the first time for Lancia to be the center of a big event like Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
