Mercedes Mini Autos Go to China
The auto market in China is the second biggest in the world, it keeps growing and expanding and different car manufacturers of the world take their products to the country. Only luxury car market grew by 30% annually for the last three years.
The problems with the stock market, bad economy and inflation are affecting the market and the dealers lose their sales. August and September were really bad for China and the numbers are not improving.
Despite the bad news Daimler AG is not going to change its plans and is bringing its smallest vehicles to Asia. Smart For Two and Mercedes-Benz GLK are going to the Chinese dealerships next year.
Both of the minicars will be on sale next April: Smart For Two is priced for $23,500-$29,400, but the cost of the other one is unknown yet, though, in Europe it is priced in the mid $30,000.
