Bank Lloyds started a comparison website on which the consumers can check for the prices on car insurance and see what will satisfy their personal needs best. The service of 35 providers can be checked on www.insurance.co.uk, but the administration of the website plans to have even more of insurance companies there.

Lloyds offers its own package of auto insurance and the other car insurance companies suppose that www.insurance.co.uk would be independent from the bank, but the website creators say they take the same fee from every provider and they have no intention to favor some insurers above the others.

Now they plan to join this site to the other price-comparison web-sites most of which deal with finances. The popularity of these websites grows lately because people prefer to look for the prices and compare them by themselves without advise of “specialists” who will only try to convince them to buy their service.
