New Supercar from Italian Auto Makers

Codatronca

Seems like lately car makers don’t have many new creative ideas and in the process of making a new vehicle they use parts of other concepts used several years before.

An Italian auto maker, Spada, presented its new concept a year ago. The Codatronca has much in common with some other models. According to one source it is a Corvette-based car and the prooves of it are the details from Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in the new Italian concept. The others say it looks a lot like 1964 Alfa Romeo Guilia TZ created by the same designer, Ercole Spada. It borrowed front design from Ferrari and tail from Giulia.

Codatronca, which means “truncated tail” in Italian, is going to be a limited edition. There will only be 20 cars like this and the price is going to be $390,000.

The Spada designers put 600 horsepower in a 7.0-liter V8 engine into the Codatronca.

Several brand-name suppliers sepport the production of the new supercar.
