Rolls-Royce Builds Ghosts and Hires Workers

Rolls-Royce Ghost

It is always good to know that some company hires workers, especially in the time when many people look for jobs being laid off or fired because of hard economic times. Rolls-Royce has announced that it is hiring workers for the new line that will work on the model Rolls-Royce Ghost.

As for now the British manufacturer is mainly in need for wood, leather and paint workers for the shops which will be shared between Ghost and Phantom. Besides the specialists the company wants to hire apprentices and student intern too. This will add 150 new jobs to the company, but the automaker plans to have even more.

Rolls-Royce officials are saying that by the end of this year 400 new workers will be employed by the company which increases the working force by 50 percent. The company’s CEO Tom Purves invites everybody who is ready to work with them to their official website: http://www.rolls-roycemotorcars.com/.

Model Ghost debuted at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show in March under working title RR4. The luxury car has 6.6-liter turbocharged V12 that outputs 500 horsepower. The engine is connected to an eight-speed ZF transmission.

The new car will be built at its own production line at Goodwood, which has been erected just recently. Over the last 18 month Rolls-Royce was expanding all the facilities to be prepared for the work on the Ghost.
