The recreational vehicle business is suffering a downfall these years. Last year the gas prices jumped high and made it impossible for people to start their travels on Memorial Day. Many of them gave up the ideas of purchasing an RV and those who already had one sought for a place to sell. Hard economics times this year make people more concerned about keeping the houses, current vehicles and jobs and not about a purchase of a new RV. Credit restrictions are also part of the problem, since rules changed and many people faces downfall of their credit score, there are not many buyers qualified for the RV purchase.
Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) has reported that RV shipments to the dealerships in 2008 were 32.9 percent lower than in 2007, it is expected to be even lower in 2009.
However, there is hope for the long time future. Richard Coon, the president of RVIA says, “Primary demand for RVs remains strong. RV show attendance and sales this year have been encouraging. Sales at shows across the country exceeded expectations”.
Many retired people all over the US decide to spend a part of their life on wheels. They buy a recreational vehicle (RV) and travel all over the country.
Some people are really good hagglers: they can negotiate any price and as a result of good talking they pay significantly smaller price than the majority of people do. There are several tactics in haggling, so if you want to negotiate the price when you go to shop for a vehicle next time, try one of these:
For many years Toyota was known as a manufacturer of high-quality vehicles, but the recent events ruined it like a house of cards. While the automaker is losing reputation, sales and money, others are trying to gain on it as much as possible: the three big American manufacturers are offering good deals for those who want to give up their Toyotas.
Everybody tries to attract buyers at the time when people have more money. Tax return is the period of time when many consumers look for a new vehicle. Chrysler offers a good deal for those who aim for a minivan.
