In September Saab plans to recall its vehicles because they don't meet government requirements about passengers’ protection. Due to the tests on occupant protection the cars did not show themselves from a good point. The officials say the Saabs have to be fixed in order to avoid the passengers’ injury in a crash.
More than 57,000 cars of 9-5 series, which were made in 2002-2008, are going back to the dealerships. The manufacturer has to install an A-pillar trim which was reworked and improved and has better energy-absorbing capability.
