Suzuki is happy to announce their new 2009 vehicles will all be equipped with GPS, developed by Garmin. The company is proud they will be the first ones who make $16,000 autos with a standard navigation system.
The system is called T.R.I.P. which means Travel, Realtime traffic, Information and Play. GPS has preloaded street maps and Navteq mapping software. The car owner will also be able to find easily any closest gas station which will be selected by the price. The system will show real-time traffic and weather forecasts. Bluetooth is also available through the system which first of all allows talking on phone “hands free” and secondly receiving and playing text messages aloud.
Besides all the features offered by GPS, Suzuki also plans to add several details. There will be an icon “Ways of Life” on the screen of the system, which gives the access for the "popular surf spots, hip music venues" and things alike.
This summer customers will be able to study and try the vehicles with the new navigation system in Suzuki showrooms.
