Since the Toyota hybrids got so popular and the sales on them rise each day, the auto maker decided to hike the prices starting with the 2009 models. Most of the hybrids went about $500 higher than the previous year cars.

The biggest seller, Toyota Prius will be sold for $22,720. This price includes the $720 destination charge. The sales of 2009 model start on August, 1.

2009 Toyota Camry hybrid will go for $26,870 in U.S. The car will go to the dealerships on August, 25.

The price hiked on 2009 Highlander Hybrid too. Including the $745 destination charge, the four-wheel drive two-row vehicle will cost $35,445. If you plan to carry more passengers and add the third row of seats, the Highlander will be $41,765. The sales on it start at the same day as the Camrys.

The manufacturer plans to rise the prices on the other vehicles too, but the hike is not as significant as the hybrids.
