Who Is Replacing Felipe Massa?

Ferrari at Formula 1

After Felipe Massa was injured at one of the races in Formula 1, Ferrari team has announced that it wanted Michael Schumacher to replace him to the end of the season by which Felipe should completely heal and come back to the track.

Lately it became known that Schumacher does not plan to return. He says that the result of “bike” injuries “make return impossible”. He explains that pain in the neck does not allow him to move well. The motorcycle accident happened in February and caused neck and head problems. The famous racer has not recovered since then yet.

Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo says that the team is very unhappy that the health problem prevents Michael from coming back. He has annunced that Schumacher will be replaced by Luca Badoer who was Formula 1 racer ten years ago, but since then he was working as a test driver for Ferrari team.

Badoer has been in racing for a very long period of time. In fact he is known for competing the most Grand Prix races (48) without scoring any points. Hopefully, this season will turn out as a better one for him.
